Leave the Fibers in the past today with this one trick! Okay, let’s make it a few steps instead. Radek is working with the Meteor team to modernize MeteorJS. Among it's high-priority items is removing and replacing Fibers capabilities from Meteor. This talk is a companion to his excellent article On the Road to Fibers-free Meteor where he covers some of the more technical details regarding Meteor's seemingly-effortless synchronous handling of asynchronous data.

Radosław Miernik is a long-time Meteor developer and OSS contributor. He is the author of is the MiniMongoExplorer Chrome extension, a Software Architect at Vazco and a PhD candidate at University of Wrocław, Reach him at @radekmie on GitHub.
