2nd Italian book club - Le perfezioni by Vincenzo Latronico

Our Italian book club meets to talk about Le perfezioni by Vincenzo Latronico, the Berlin novel that became one of the international literary events of the past year.
Anna and Tom are two young Italians living in Berlin: a bright apartment full of plants, Scandinavian furniture, creative digital jobs, long walks, aperitivi and nights out. It’s a life that looks perfect, especially on Instagram. Latronico follows them with a cool, precise and quietly ironic gaze, and slowly shows us what stays outside the frame.

We’re discussing the novel on two evenings so that everyone can join: Wednesday 28 October and Tuesday 10 November, both at 7 pm. Choose the one that suits you best, or come to both and see how the conversation changes.
