Welcome to Metro Detroit Droneographers! I established this Meetup Group for both experienced drones enthusiasts, and aspiring drone operators. Michigan is one of the best States in terms of accessible drone flying and photography locations. Whether you're a weekend hobbyist, or professional UAV practitioner, it's almost always best to use these modern marvels of aerial technology with groups of people. For those of you who own your own drones, and are explorers by nature, this group might provide a fun outlet for you to capture scenic landscapes, and historical buildings throughout the great State of Michigan. This group can also be an educational forum; in which people can share knowledge and tips of the best drone flying locations, and weekend travel destinations. Please join us, and kill two proverbial stones together. We can enhance our recreational drone flying skills, and seek thrills, while doing so!
