I’ve never seen this 1977 William Friedkin (The Exorcist, The French Connection) movie, but it’s been on my list for a long time. I’m excited to see it for the first time on a big screen! It’s showing as part of the Redford’s Bleak Week, during which they’re also screening The Deer Hunter and Mulholland Drive. Pretty good lineup, right?

The Redford is a beautiful old theater with a pipe organ that plays before screenings. It has its own parking lot right next to it that is free. It’s a big theater without assigned seats, so we’ll have to meet up in the lobby and pick our seats together. I’ve never sat up in the balcony before, so maybe we’ll try up there this time? Note: the seats there are the old kind, not recliners. My partner gets grumpy when I don’t warn them of that ahead of time, so I thought I’d let others know as well.

Any questions, please ask. Hope to see you there!
