About the speaker: Pallavi Mishra is leading machine learning research at a stealth startup based in Washington D.C. She brings a wealth of experience in AI and software engineering, having worked in the fields of computer vision, machine learning and sensor networks. She had co-founded a sensor network based hardware startup 'BitSense' in Boston. She also worked as a researcher, engineer and scientist in various companies including Amazon, Cisco and Anova systems.
Her work in the field of computational cognitive science resulted in publications in leading journals in computer vision.

We are back with our speaker session for April. We will be hosting Pallavi Mishra, who is going to be presenting on the applications of Machine Learning in neuroscience. There is a lot that can be done with motion sensors and this talk will be focusing on how machine learning and motion sensors can together be used in health care and neuroscience in particular.
