Building a SPA in WordPress with LitElement

For this month's meetup our friend Hasani Rogers is going to be going over building a Single Page App (SPA) within WordPress with LitElement.

OUR SPEAKER

Hello. My name is Hasani Rogers and I’m a Front End Developer with over ten year of experience in the field. I’m a huge proponent of web components. LitElement in particular. Back in the day I also was a WordPress developer however. While putting together my new portfolio site, I decided to merge these two worlds. So I present to you http://hasanirogers.me. This is my portfolio. It uses a theme build almost entirely in LitElement. My portfolio is also a single page application. I’ll walk through routing, making rest calls to the WP REST API, configuring WordPress to host a SPA, and finally the fundamentals of LitElement in this presentation. For those of you wondering what LitElement is, it’s basically React for standard web components.
