Join Metro East Special Needs Connection for the Wonder Harvest Festival, a sensory-friendly fall gathering designed for families raising children and young adults with disabilities and special needs.
Come with your children, come with another caregiver, or come on your own. The goal is simply to enjoy the season, connect with other Metro East families, and have a good time together.
The festival will include both indoor and outdoor activities, giving families options based on comfort, sensory needs, and the weather.
Our outdoor space includes a fully enclosed fenced area, which may be especially helpful for families supporting children who wander or elope. Families should still provide their usual supervision and supports.
Expect a relaxed mix of fall activities, music, art, games, food, and opportunities to connect with other parents and caregivers.
Members of Metro East Special Needs Connection will also be able to learn more about upcoming Pathways Circle gatherings, parent groups, and Southern Illinois Pathways family supports.
