What we’re about

The “Metro Vancouver FPGA” group is a loose network of hardware, firmware and software developers interested in furthering technical innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of electronics.
Beside encouraging peer-to-peer learning, we are organized around centers of competences: dispatching tasks and strengthening collaboration for ongoing projects as well as planning new ideas implementation.
In addition, we aim to operate on a collaborative model, thus preserving individual ownership and personal contributions. Please join us in creating amazing tech. realizations!

Have you ever dreamed of plenty of I/O (inputs/outputs), get more control over OS latency or unleash tremendous parallel processing...?
Ta-dah! Here comes the FPGA, the Swiss knife of electronic!
Drop by to check out the awesome alternative and/or complement brought by this super efficient technology that deserves to be known and used the world over.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST: if you are used to C /C++ (python, Java...) programming, then FPGA design is within easy reach. We're here to take the mystery out of it.
