Between (and Below) the Lanes

Join me for a long exposure session to capture light trails and city lights.

From our vantage point below the Georgia Via Duct, we will create images of the cityscape at night, reflections (if the location has pooling water), Skytrain light trails as well as views to the east and west along Pacific Boulevard. So, grab a camera and warm coat and join me in creating some cool images.

Step 1: RSVP the event
Step 2: To hold your spot you must provide an e-transfer, sent to clazarschuler@icloud.com, within 24hrs. of your RSVP unless you have arranged for on-site payment in cash the day of the event by email. Please note: If you miss the deadline or do not make cash payment arrangements, your spot will be re-opened up to the next person on the RSVP list.
Step 3: Upon receiving payment for the Meetup, you will receive an email confirming your spot.

If you have RSVP'd and can not attend the day of the event, you are asked to contact the organizer ASAP so the group is not waiting for you to arrive. If you are a "no-show", without contacting the organizer, you will be given a warning; multiple no-shows without contact will result in your expulsion from the group. Permanently.

REMINDERS:

1. Make sure you bring extra batteries and memory cards.
2. If your battery dies or you run out of memory space, the event will not be stopped to accommodate your situation. Be prepared!
3. tripod and camera trigger for long exposure images
4. warm coat and/or gloves recommended since we will be near the water
5. umbrella in case of inclement weather

COVID / Flu Information
While things are relatively back to "normal" there are still COVID-19 variants affecting our health landscape, plus seasonal FLU and we still need to be mindful of our behaviour and safety moving forward. Please review the following COVID-19 health and safety guidelines:

Adherence to these protocols are expected and outlined below. If you cannot abide by these rules, please do NOT register for this event.

• Anyone exhibiting signs of the virus including fever, chills, sore throat, new or worsening cough, new muscle aches or severe headache should NOT participate in the event, must cancel their RSVP immediately and contact the event organizer.

These are common sense health and safety guidelines that should be easy to maintain and manage. Anyone who cannot abide by these rules will be asked to leave the event.

IMPORTANT: If you have been FULLY vaccinated (two doses + booster) and choose NOT to wear a mask when closer than 6'-0" / 2M to other photographers, you are doing so at your own risk and "Metro Vancouver Street Photography" will NOT be held responsible for any illness that results from unsafe behaviour.
