New series, Forever: produced by Mara Brock Akil and Regina King

This post is a bit different, I know we have had countless in theater screenings but this time I wanted to shout out and promote a new series on Netflix.

FOREVER is a heartfelt new series reimagining Judy Blume’s classic novel for today’s generation. Created by Mara Brock Akil, it follows two Black teens as they experience their first love and navigate growing up in Los Angeles. It’s a sweet, honest series that beautifully captures those unforgettable “firsts.”
