What we’re about

This Meetup group is for people from the Stuttgart region (and beyond) who enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities as welll as social, cultural and educational activities. We meet about three to four times a month.
We are the "Metropolitan Club Stuttgart e.V". an international club, which roots go back to 1951, with a tradition of German-American friendship open for participants of all nations.

Come and experience the passion and skill of Schwäbisch Hall's artists through an exciting program of workshops, exhibitions, and live demonstrations. You’ll find works that inspire and captivate the senses. Set against a backdrop of tradition and creativity, local artists and craftsmen will showcase their works and invite you to explore the diverse world of handmade art and craftsmanship.

After visiting the Crafts Christmas Market, we can enjoy exclusive free access to the Würth Museum, home to an impressive collection of contemporary art. Here, you can experience a variety of exhibitions ranging from classical to modern works, as well as special installations and thematic shows that highlight the connection between art, culture, and society.

  • Stroll through the Medieval Town
    After visiting the christmas market and the museum, we can take some time to explore the cobbled streets of Schwäbisch Hall's medieval old town. With its historic architecture and scenic views along the river, it’s the perfect place for a leisurely walk and a glimpse into the town’s storied past.

When: Saturday 29 November 2025
Where: Schwäbisch Hall picturesque old town

We use the train from Stuttgart Central Station and back:
We meet 10:45 AM at the beginning of track 16

Our train is RE90 leaving from Track 10.57 AM
The train back is at 17h49 and arrives at 19h05 in Stuttgart Hbf.

Feel free to take the train back earlier or later depending on your needs and desires, knowing that the train station is close to the old town.
We only take trains where you can use with the 49€-Ticket/Deutschland-Ticket.
You need to ORGANIZE your train ticket BY YOURSELF !
