Metropolitan Walkers is part of the Ramblers, Britain's walking charity. All welcome for 3 'taster' walks, after which please join the Ramblers - info on the Met Walkers website

A walk taking in Beddington Park and two of the Carshalton parks, passing several of their historic features including Carew Manor and St Mary's Church in Beddington Park. The route also follows some short sections of the River Wandle trail. Pub stop at end.

Optional: Please join us in The Hope pub in Carshalton at the end of the walk for a drink and a chat.

Travel: Please make your own way to Hackbridge station to meet the group and the walk leader. If travelling from central London: Take the 18:25 from London Victoria (Clapham Junction 18:32), arrive Hackbridge 18:49. Use Oyster/contactless (Hackbridge station is in Zone 4).

Travel back from Carshalton station (Zone 5) also uses Oyster/contactless.
