Battle to Robertsbridge via Bodiam Castle (14 miles/Moderate)

A mixture of woodland paths and fields, with a choice of cafe and pub at lunchtime by Bodiam Castle.

Travel: Take the 9:15 Charing Cross (9:24 London Bridge), arr. Battle 10:43. Buy return to Battle.

If you were staying overnight on the Hastings weekend away then take the 9:30 Hastings Rail replacement bus, arr. Battle 10:17.
