Clandon to Guildford (shorter) (13 miles/Moderate)

Shorter version of the longer walk also running today, through woodland and forest trails. The walk none-the-less involves a couple of steep climbs and includes ascent of approximately 474m over the course of the route.

Bring a packed lunch. Lunch stop in the pretty village of Shere. Optional drop out at Shere with bus to either Guildford or Dorking.

Pub stop at the end.

Travel: Take 10:03 from London Waterloo (10:12 Clapham Junction ), arr. 10:59 Clandon.

Buy return Guildford.
