Autumnal beech woods (13 miles/Moderate)

This walk takes in extensive, beautiful beech woods which will hopefully have some lovely golden leaves left on the trees. Bring a packed lunch. Pub at the end.

Terrain: Gentle hills and beech woods

Travel: Take the 9:38 from Paddington, arrive Pangbourne 10:32. If you miss this one you can try the 9:48 to Reading, arrive 10:11 and change to the official train departing Reading at 10:24. Buy a return to Goring & Strealey (NOT Goring By Sea).

Grading: Moderate.
