Take in lovely views over a picturesque corner of Kent from the North Downs Way en route to Holly Hill with its glimpses of distant Tilbury and the Thames Estuary. On the way back we more or less follow the path of medieval pilgrims, passing one of their churches and an ancient burial ground. Because the pubs at the end are at Wrotham, walkers may have to find their own way along a last mile of road back to Borough Green station. 550m elevation.
Please bring a packed lunch.
Travel: Take the 9.52 from Cannon Street (9.57 London Bridge), arr 10.39 Borough Green and Wrotham.
Grading: Moderate.
