A scenic ridgeway walk that takes in the lovely Sharpenhoe Clappers before heading to the hills that surround the once proud home of the Vauxhall van. We follow the River Lee (more a stream) into a town also famed for hat-making, passing along two contrasting and delightful parks.
Bring a packed lunch. Pub stop for drinks only.
Travel: Take 09:51 from St Pancras, arr. Harlington 10:36. Buy a return to Harlington.
Grading: Moderate.
