A route taking in two of the highest hills in Surrey and some great views. We also pass through pretty pine woodlands, and may see a few of the last bluebells and rhododendrons in bloom. Total ascent 570m. Please bring a packed lunch. Pub stop at end. Note, Holmwood Station does not have public toilets, please make use of outbound station or train facilities.

Terrain: Hills, woods, fields

Travel: Take 9:41 from London Victoria (9:48 Clapham Junction), arr. Holmwood 10:47) Buy return to Holmwood. Single from Gomshall-Dorking is needed for first part of journey back.

Grading: Moderate.
