This walk follows part of the South Downs Way. We pass the Jack and Jill Windmills and follow local tracks to reach Lewes. Four gradual climbs on route, with facilities available on the way.
Please bring a packed lunch.
Pub at end.
Terrain: Hills, woods, fields
Travel: Take the 9:35 from London Victoria, change at East Croydon (arr. 9:52, dep. 10.04), arr. Hassocks 10:43.
Meet outside in the station carpark but keep clear of the station entrance.
Buy a return to Lewes.
Grading: Moderate.
