A Surrey walk that takes in commons, ponds, woods and hills. Lunch will be at a National Trust centre by Frensham Little Pond where there are public facilities. Post lunch, we make our way to Haslemere via the Devil's Punchbowl and Gibbett Hill.
The walk is not intended to be superfast, however due to its length you will need to keep a reasonably good pace throughout.
Please bring packed lunch.
Terrain: Hills, Woods, Ponds
Travel: Take 09:45 from London Waterloo (09:52 Clapham Junction, 10:25 Guildford), arr. 10:38 Milford (Surrey). Buy a return to Haslemere (Surrey). This will cover journey to Milford as both stations are on the same line.
Kindly wait outside the front the of station where the walk will start.
Grading: Strenuous.
