A relaxed, moderate walk through the pretty Kentish Weald taking in sections of the Sussex Border Path, the Wealdway and the Tunbridge Wells Circular Walk. Some great views along the way and in the afternoon we'll visit St Mary's Church in Speldhurst which has stained glass windows designed by the pre-Raphaelite artist Edward Burne-Jones.
Pub stop at lunchtime for drinks only, so please bring a packed lunch. Pub at the end.
Terrain: Fields and woods, some gentle hills.
Travel: Take the 10:07 from London Bridge (10:22 East Croydon), arrive Cowden at 10:53. This walk requires two singles, the first from London to Cowden and the second from Tunbridge Wells back to London.
Grading: Moderate.
