Chichester to West Wittering (11 miles/Moderate)

We hike the length of what remains of the ruinously expensive Chichester Ship Canal with its abundant flora and fauna before taking in views over the Chichester Channel towards fabulous West Wittering Beach. Swimming possibilities plus refreshments.

It is a bus ride back to Chichester from West Wittering village (which is an easy self-guided half mile or so from the beach). Pub visit in Chichester.

Please bring a packed lunch.

Travel: Take 10:05 from London Victoria (Clapham Junction 10:12, East Croydon 10:23), arriving Chichester 11:37.

Buy return to Chichester.
