In 1994 in response to illegal raves new legislation came in where it became illegal to have a gathering of 20 or more people where "music" includes sounds wholly or predominantly characterised by the emission of a succession of repetitive beats.
This resulted in 3 protests taking place in 1994. This walk will loosely follow the route of the first 2 marches. Then we will explore some of the sites that were playing their part in the dance music scene of 1994 where jungle was the music of the moment.
