Beginning in Waddon, we follow the River Wandle through South London, passing Waddon Ponds Park, Poulter Park, Beddington Park, Morden Hall Park, and Wandle Meadow Nature Park, amongst others. We leave the Wandle Trail at Earlsfield, heading towards Wandsworth Common where we finish with an optional pub stop.
Please bring a packed lunch.
Terrain: Mainly tarmac/gravel footpaths, but with some footpaths with potential for mud.
Travel: Take the 10:30 train from London Victoria (10:34 Battersea Park; 10:39 Clapham Junction; 10:42 Wandsworth Common; 10:45 Balham), arrive in Waddon at 11:07.
Alternatively, take the 10:25 train from London Bridge (10:39 Norwood Junction; 10:45 West Croydon), arrive in Waddon at 10:47.
Use contactless/oyster card.
Meet outside the front of Waddon Station. Please note it is a small station with no toilets - you are advised to use the facilities on the train.
