Starting in Caterham, this walk heads to Chaldon to see the medieval church. We walk through Happy Valley near Coulsdon, follow a short section of the London Loop onto Mayfield Lavender Fields, and continue through Oaks Park to Carshalton, where you’re welcome to join us at the pub at the end. The walk will be at a relaxed pace.
Please bring a packed lunch.
Travel: Take 10:15 from London Bridge (10:57 East Croydon), arriving Caterham 11:18.
Use Oyster/Contactless.
Alternatively take 10:35 from London Victoria in order to get the tight connection at East Croydon (arriving 10:52).
Note: The leader will only wait for the London Bridge train arriving at 11:18.
