Metropolitan Walkers is part of the Ramblers, Britain's walking charity. All welcome for 3 'taster' walks, after which please join the Ramblers - info on the Met Walkers website

A walk following part of the River Wey, and climbing some of hills around Guildford for nice views. Route also passes through Blackheath where we will hopefully see the heather in flower. Total ascent 480m. Drinks/facilities stop in the afternoon, and pub at end of walk. Please bring a packed lunch.

Terrain: Riverbank, hills, fields, woods

Travel: Take the 10:00 from London Waterloo (Clapham Junction 10:09), arrive Guildford 10:40.

Grading: Moderate.
