Beginning by walking through the Knebworth Estate, home to Knebworth House, where many famous movies have been filmed, you may spot deer in the surrounding forest. We will then head west, walking through a range of forests, small villiages and countryside. We then visit the ruins of Minsden Chapel, a Grade 2 listed ancient monument, before heading east into Stevenage to finish the walk.

At the end of the walk, there is an optional invitation to an open house and garden event of a Met Walker in the centre of Stevenage, which will show their collection of Belgian cafe organs and garden railway.

A packed lunch is optional, you are welcome to bring a picnic for the open house or buy a takeaway. As this is a leisurely walk there will be no lunch stop, with an aim to finish by 2pm. Please do bring plenty of water.
