Thames Path From Chertsey to Windsor (14 miles/Moderate)

Metropolitan Walkers is part of the Ramblers, Britain's walking charity. All welcome for 3 'taster' walks, after which please join the Ramblers - info on the Met Walkers website
Beginning at Chertsey, we walk along a pretty stretch of the Thames, including stopping for lunch in Runnymede, historic sight of the signing of Magna Carta. We finish in Windsor with an optional pub stop.
Please bring a packed lunch.
Travel: Take the 09:49 from London Waterloo (09:53 Vauxhall; 09:56 Queenstown Road (Battersea); 10:00 Clapham Junction; 10:02 Wandsworth Town; 10:05 Putney; 10:08 Barnes; 10:10 Barnes Bridge; 10:13 Chiswick; 10:15 Kew Bridge), arrive 10:55 Chertsey.
Meet outside the north entrance of Chertsey Railway Station.
You will need to buy separate singles for the outward journey and the return journey from Windsor and Eton Riverside station as each route uses a separate train line.
