Metrotrails Anniversary Hike!

A big heads up for our big anniversary hike, which happens end of March!

This year, we are once again doing things very differently than we have in the past. The event has become very big, but the route we historically used has become much more difficult to pass through with such a big group due to infrastructural collapses and property closures.
As such, we'll incorporate a little of that historic route into the hike, but we will add on some different stuff. Some of it we have used as part of this hike before, and some of it we have not.
The route is going to take us along the Delaware on the Pennsylvania side for a bit at the start out of Del Haven, then make our way into Belvidere.
This is because 2025 marks Warren County's 200th anniversary and we will be focusing heavily on Warren history. It is only right that we have a heavy focus on Belvidere!
From here, we'll head north on back roads and trails and visit Four Sisters Winery. From there, we return to the railroad grade and head east to Pequest Furnace. That will be our meeting point and end point.
Everyone meets at Pequest Furnace lot, at the corner of Rt 46 and Pequest Furnace Road, and we will shuttle with as few vehicles as possible to our start.
