Join us for this point to point hike along the Susquehanna River.
The original trip for this weekend wasn't working out for a variety of reasons, and so we do this one which picks up where we left off on the Susquehanna, tracing the North Branch Canal and Bloomsburg Branch of the Lackawanna.
We will meet at 8:30 am at the Bloomsburg Town Park on Market Street. From there, we shuttle with as few vehicles as possible to our start point in Berwick.
There will be road walk parallel with much of the historic route, but plenty of nice little parks we pass through along the way, sometimes right on the Susquehanna.
We will walk Test Track Park and some fields, and some of Old Berwick Road, Columbia Park, Lime Ridge Park, a couple of cemeteries, and more.
There will be places we can stop for food and drink along the way. Distance will be just about 15 miles as usual. Should be fun!
