Reading Area Loop Hike

Join us for this super happy loop hike through all sorts of diversified surroundings in the Reading PA area!
We'll start out by walking trails from our start in Wyomissing Park out to the Schuylkill River Trail. Once we get there, we'll make our way eastbound on the trail.
Most of the beginning will be tracing the former Pennsylvania Railroad east.
We'll pass some historic sites and cross two large bridges, and then if timing works out, we'll stop by Ridgewood Winery.
Another side trip will take us to Allegheny Aqueduct Park on the Schuylkill Navigation.
We'll cross the Schuylkill and then we'll pick up the Exeter River Trail west.
We'll continue on this to Neversink Mountain, cover some of the trails there, and come back into Reading with some more riverfront trail and historic sites before reaching Schuylkill River Trail again. We'll return to Wyomissing and back to our meeting point to close about 16 miles.
