C&O Canal Hike
Details
Join us for this point to point hike on the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal.
We will meet at 9 am at the Billy Goat/Anglers Trail B lot of Potomac Maryland, across from Old Angler's Inn. We shuttle with as few cars as possible west to do a 15 mile section that includes a side trip to the Great Falls.
Most of this is flat and easy, but note that we pass no stores on the way.
Everyone must come prepared with all of the food and water they need.
This is day 1 of 2, the second of which will be Monday morning to complete the route to Washington DC.
