What we’re about

This is a meditation and mindfulness group for people looking to practice and learn with others. It's about living in the present moment and letting go of stress based or unskillful habits. Meetups in this group include Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) events, weekly meditation groups, loving-kindness or metta practice, tonglen or compassion practice, open awareness meditation, insight or vipassana meditation, body scan guided meditation, interpersonal communication, skillful living and more. We're all about creating community or sangha and learning together. Some of the teachers we draw from include Pema Chodron, Joseph Goldstein, Jack Kornfield, HH the Dalai Lama, Eckhart Tolle, Byron Katie, Sharon Salzberg, Gangaji, Adyshanti, Jon Kabat Zinn, Thich Nhat Hanh, Ramana Maharshi and more.
