What we’re about
This group is for anyone who enjoys photography or film and wants to explore nearby spots and shoot together. It’s a great space to find inspiration, be creative, and connect with others who share an interest in photography.
The group is mainly geared toward hobbyists and beginners who may not live in Boston which is where most of the current photography groups are located, but everyone is welcome including professionals and those who live in Boston or Providence! The idea is to learn from each other, share tips and tricks, and build some community. We can also take nicely composed photos of each other while we're out shooting to help make your visions come to life.
Open to ideas on how to shape the group. For now, the plan is to meet about once a month at a specific location to shoot—like a sculpture garden, mural wall, or a free outdoor festival. Locations will vary among New England.
