ECO-TOUR: Short Hills Battlefield Retreat

• Posted For Your Information * This is an Edison Greenways Group event and Walter Stochel Jr. will lead the hike. * Hikes/walks are usually 2 miles, not more than 2 hours, and include historical information. This is their 28th year of touring open space in the Edison area.

Meet: End of Hayduk Drive, Edison (off of Woodland Avenue)

We will walk the retreat route from Short Hills Battlefield to Washington’s Headquarters at Drake House in Plainfield.

Please wear appropriate clothing, and waterproof footwear. The walks can be tough and wet. There are no restroom facilities on the outdoor tours.

Bring something to drink, binoculars, compass, notepad, and bird book.
