Sail on a tall ship

You will be going out on the HARDIESSE, a 50 foot Ketch with two masts. No sailing knowledge is required as there will be experienced crew sailing the boat for you however you can be involved as much as you want e.g. raising the sails and even helming!
Rain or shine, this event will go ahead whatever the weather decides to do as you will stay warm and dry in your waterproof clothing.However you always have the option of going down below and looking out through the windows.
There is a £10 annual membership fee to join the Hardiesse sailing club plus a donation of as much as you can afford. Unfortunately, unless sufficient donations are given, this will be the last season Hardiesse will be able to sail A donation of at least £35 would be appreciated The majority of the donations received this season have been £50 per person. The commercial rate for sailing on a tall ship is typically £140

Payments must be made within 2 days of signing up or your place will be released to the next person on the waiting list.

Facilities: Toilet on board
Meeting Time: 9:20 a.m. and ready to depart at 10:00am
Meeting Place: close to the Windjammer cafe and bar steps opposite the Pico dingies Falmouth
You will be taken in a Tender (small boat) to the Tall Ship
Return Time: between 4:00pm and 5:00pm
What to Bring: A packed lunch and drink, warm clothes waterproofs and trainers (even if it’s a nice day as it can get extremely cold on the water).
