Circular Evening Walk from Lelant Downs to the Tors of Trencrom Hill

Details
This is a 5 mile moderate walk with a bit of a climb up to Trencrom Hill. Unfortunately no pets or alpacas are allowed on this walk due to the route.
Meeting at the Watermill Inn, parking in the car park we will set off through the Tempest Estate up to Trevethoe and the Cubit Plantation. From here we will walk the lanes for just under a mile, before joining the St Michael's Way trail following it over the open fields and woodland down the valley to the hamlet of Trevarrack and then up to Trencrom Hill and its fabulous granite Tors.
The views from here are excellent with St Michael's Mount on the south coast and Godfrey Lighthouse on the north, with the view along this coastline stretching from the broad sweep of Hayle Sands to Trevose Head. The summit is littered with large granite tors and boulders.
From here we will descend down the path, passing more tors onto the quiet country lane which we will follow down to Lelant Down before taking the paths over the fields which give a panoramic view of Lelant Saltings and Hayle Sands beyond. Finally arriving back at the Watermill Inn for a refreshments etc.
