Wine Tasting Evening @ Evie's

Our second wine tasting evening at Evie's is on the first Friday of the month and we intend this to become its regular calendar event.

At the last tasting event we sampled: a rose from the French Mediterranean island of Corsica, a white from Portugal, a non alcoholic Shiraz from South Africa and a red (Shiraz) from Australia. The white and Shiraz wines were a hit but sadly and they were sad, the rose and non alcoholic Shiraz were not!

The mystery wine selection for this evening will have been decided by those attending the last event. With Evie supplying the white, Daryn the red, Helen the rose and Genny the non alcoholic wines. There will be no charge for the wines but a small contribution to Evie for the food and snacks provided.

These evenings as is Evie's wish are going to be very informal, so we can discuss our favourite wines and then hopefully bring more of them to a future tasting for everyone to try! As in the Book chats we have no doubt the conversations will cover more than wines including the weather, a little politics and some utter nonsense.

Numbers are limited to 12 for these first couple of wine tastings.
