The Astrology of Spiritual Awakening with Eric Meyers - The Astrology Collective

This lecture will address the core of The Astrology of Awakening approach. The focus will be on the two central energies of the astrological system, the Sun and Moon. We will review them conventionally, pertaining to personality and gender, then explore them from a much deeper spiritual context. We will discuss the Sun and Moon in terms of spiritual maturation -- moving through levels of consciousness towards soul realization. Just like a child, we all begin spiritually less mature and conscious (Moon) in our soul history. From this foundation, we develop karmic patterns and habits (Lunar Nodes) which stem from these early experiences. Ultimately, we may grow into our more awakened selves (Sun), blossoming into our potential.
The application of the information will compose the second part of the workshop. The basics of this perspective and astrological approach will be applied to participants' charts. We will have a fun, interactive dialogue about the process of spiritual growth and awakening.
Eric Meyers is an astrological counselor, teacher and author. He holds an M.A. in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. A graduate of the Steven Forrest Apprenticeship Program, he seeks to add to the growing field of evolutionary astrology.
