CDMX MOVIE CLUB - Wings of Desire

Over the past few films, we’ve explored the same question from different angles. The Last Temptation of Christ examined the tension between the human and the divine, while A.I. Artificial Intelligence asked what makes us truly human when intelligence, love, and even consciousness are no longer ours alone.

This time, we continue that journey with Wings of Desire.

Set in a divided Berlin, Wim Wenders’ masterpiece follows angels who quietly observe humanity. They witness our joys, fears, loneliness, and hopes—but cannot experience them. As one angel begins to long for a human life, the film invites us to see the ordinary anew and to ask what makes being human so extraordinary.
