With an impressive track record including roles at Twitter and BuzzFeed, Justin has tackled diverse problems from optimizing BuzzFeed's home page to significantly reducing the latency of Twitter's home timeline. He holds a dual degree from Columbia University in Computer Science and Mathematics, and an MBA from NYU Stern with Specializations in Strategy and Management. In his leisure time, Justin loves to express his creativity through cooking and photography. 📢 Jorge Vizcayno @Alima
Jorge Vizcayno es cofundador y CEO de Alima. Antes de eso, fue Ingeniero de Software en Avontus, Head of Technology en ByPrice y cofundador en Tuibo. Tiene una amplia experiencia en la implementación de arquitecturas de datos escalables, sistemas de aprendizaje automático y estrategias de desarrollo de producto. Jorge cuenta tiene una maestría en Machine Learning & Data Science de USC, y colaboró en el CLVR Lab de USC y el BEST Lab de UC Berkeley en investigaciones enfocadas a Deep Reinforcement Learning y Robótica.

🎤 Talk #3: Grafos de conocimiento y modelos de lenguaje: Una simbiosis altamente productiva.
En esta charla exploramos cómo los Knowledge Graphs pueden mejorar el desempeño inferencial e interpretativo de los modelos LLM, a la vez que los LLM pueden auxiliar la construcción de KG a partir de la simplificación de la construcción de hechos y definición de vínculos de conocimiento.

Juan Carlos Martínez Ovando. Actualmente se desempeña como Data Scientist Senior Expert (Principal) en la unidad México de la BBVA AI Factory. Previamente, ha desempeñado roles como AI/ML Officer en la División Digital del Grupo Rotoplas, Profesor de Analítica e Inteligencia de Negocios (a tiempo completo) en la Tec de Monterrey Business School, Profesor Asociado (Investigador) en los programas de Actuaría, Ciencia de Datos, Ciencias de la Computación y Estadística del ITAM, Investigador en la División de Investigación Económica de Banco de México, entre otros roles en el sector público y privado. Ha impartido cátedra en materia de Estadística, Riesgos y Ciencia de Datos en la UNAM, ITAM, Tec de Monterrey, University of Kent, Università di Torino y U. Anáhuac México.
Es Licenciado en Actuaría por el ITAM, Maestro en Ciencias Matemáticas por la UNAM y Doctor en Estadística por The University of Kent. Completó un post-doctorado en Econometría Bayesiana en la Università di Torino-Collegio Carlo Alberto.
