This time we will meet at Laboratorio Arte Alameda, a unique space that bridges contemporary art with the history of a 17th-century former temple.
Currently on view is the exhibition Said Dokins: Inscriptions, which explores memory, writing, and the relationship between body and space. One of its most striking pieces is the intervention on the walls of the central nave, created with fluorescent pigments visible only under ultraviolet light. This installation transforms the venue into an immersive experience where the visible and the invisible intertwine, inviting us to reflect on time, presence, and traces left behind.
In addition to enjoying the art, this event is a wonderful opportunity to practice English with other attendees in a relaxed and culturally stimulating atmosphere. Of course, you are also welcome to enjoy the experience in Spanish if you prefer.

En esta ocasión nos reuniremos en el Laboratorio Arte Alameda, un espacio único que conecta el arte contemporáneo con la historia de un antiguo templo del siglo XVII. Actualmente se presenta la exposición Said Dokins: Inscripciones, una muestra que explora la memoria, la escritura y la relación entre cuerpo y espacio. Una de sus piezas más impactantes es la intervención en los muros de la nave central, realizada con pigmentos fluorescentes visibles únicamente bajo luz ultravioleta. Esta instalación transforma el recinto en una experiencia inmersiva donde lo visible y lo invisible se entrelazan, invitando a reflexionar sobre el tiempo, la presencia y la huella. Además de disfrutar del arte, este evento es una excelente oportunidad para practicar inglés entre los asistentes en un ambiente relajado y culturalmente estimulante. Por supuesto, también puedes acompañarnos hablando en español si así lo prefieres.
