What we’re about

What is Mezze? A style of eating that is popular in the Mediterranean; it consists of small plates filled with bite sized food or finger foods, but unlike appetizers which are intended to stimulate the appetite, mezze is intended to make up an entire meal.

At my home, mezze is eaten informally (not at the table) standing, sitting, or cross-legged on the floor (or however you fancy) accompanied with a drink (in this case a Martini) chatting to friends in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.

At least 85% of the mezze is made or cooked from scratch - the other 15% comprises foods such as crisps, flatbreads, olives, cheeses, etc. If you are vegetarian or vegan, please let me know beforehand and I will make up a special platter for you.

We meet on the 1st Saturday of every month and places are prebooked and paid for at the time of booking. The mezze menus will vary from month to month and will be posted at least 3 weeks in advance.

I offer a complimentary Martini (usually gin based, but if you prefer vodka let me know when booking). If you would like more than 'just one', please bring with you your drink of choice - I do not have fridge room to store your drink but there will be plenty of ice available and a couple of cool wraps; unlimited still or sparkling water is also available.
