Presenter Bio:

Dr. Gregory Wochos is a clinical neuropsychologist, licensed psychologist, and founder of Focused Learning Neuropsychology in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He provides comprehensive neuropsychological assessment services to children and adults (ages 6+) who present with a variety of neurodevelopmental disorders, neurological conditions, mental health disorders, and medical conditions that impact brain functioning and development.
Dr. Wochos earned his doctoral degree in school psychology, with a concentration in clinical neuropsychology and a doctoral minor in applied statistics and research methods, from the University of Northern Colorado. During his graduate training, he received national recognition as the recipient of the Graduate Student Research Award from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) for his intervention research in developmental dyslexia. He also completed the requirements to become a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP).
Dr. Wochos advanced his expertise in neuropsychological assessment through specialized training at the Kennedy Krieger Institute at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he spent two years completing his externship and APA accredited internship in pediatric neuropsychology and behavioral psychology. He then completed an intensive, two-year, APPCN-accredited postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Children’s National Hospital and the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC.
Prior to establishing Focused Learning Neuropsychology, Dr. Wochos served for many years as a clinical neuropsychologist at a large health care organization in southeastern Wisconsin. His scholarly contributions to the field include published peer-reviewed research in the areas of pediatric brain tumors and executive functioning, as well as a doctoral dissertation focusing on the remediation of developmental dyslexia in children.
At Focused Learning Neuropsychology, Dr. Wochos specializes in the assessment and treatment of ADHD/ADD, executive functioning difficulties, developmental dyslexia and learning disabilities, traumatic brain injury, intellectual disability, and co-occurring emotional and behavioral challenges that frequently accompany neurocognitive difficulties. He also provides specialized testing and accommodations for college-level students. His practice has recently expanded to offer both in-person and virtual assessments for adult ADHD/ADD and other mental health conditions.
