2025 Petoskey State Park Camping - Friday Bike Ride

This activity is part of the MAC Camping Event to Petoskey, Michigan and 4+ hours from the Detroit Area. All are welcome to join even if not camping.

What:
Bike the Little Traverse Wheel Way*, approximately 20 miles total, possibly more based on what the group want, with the option to turn around and return to camp at any time.

When:
Friday, June 20th 10 AM . Approximately 2 - 3 hours base on riding more or stopping at places.

Where:
Meet before 10am at camp site #162. Note: This is in the Tannery Creek campground. If you're camping in the Dunes Campgound, ride the 5 minutes or so to site 162, or be waiting where the Dunes campground driveway intersects State Park Rd. If no one is there, we'll keep riding. **

Make sure your bike is ready to ride and you have what you need to keep your bike going; tools, patch kit, spare tube. Etc. Snacks, water.

Notes:

• * Due to the recent ice storms, trees are down. The route may be changed prior to the ride, we may possibly run into downed trees
• ** If you're riding but not camping in Petoskey SP, leave a comment in this activity a day or more before the ride so you can park in the main lot and we'll meet you. If there's no comment about this, or it's less than an hour before the ride, we'll keep riding.
