2025 Petoskey State Park Camping - Saturday Bear River Kayak

This activity is part of the MAC Camping Event to Petoskey, Michigan and 4+ hours from the Detroit Area. All are welcome to join even if not camping.

** PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS DESCRIPTION AS MANY QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED AND ALSO ANSWER THE QUESTION ASKED WHEN MARKING "ATTEND". PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. If the question isn't answered you'll get moved to "Not Going" until you do.

What:
Kayak the scenic Bear River near Petoskey, Michigan. From a technical point of view, the section we'll do is more like rivers we do down state, but, it is a beautiful paddle, something new and is reported to have more wildlife sightings.

When:
Saturday, June 21st @ 10AM . Approximately 2 hours based on how fast the river is. There are longer options and you can call and ask and reserve that instead.

RESERVATIONS - PLEASE READ:

• You have to call in advance and make a reservation so they have the right staff and equipment.
• Kayak owners - They will transport you and your boat with the group for $10/boat. You also have to call in advance and reserve
• THERE MAY NOT BE ROOM FOR YOU IF DECIDE DAY OF TO JUST SHOW UP
• The Livery needs to know in advance to staff and equip the transport for us. Those with paid registrations will go.
