2025 Petoskey State Park Camping - Sunday hike on the Skybridge!

This activity is part of the MAC Camping Event to Petoskey, Michigan and 4+ hours from the Detroit Area. All are welcome to join even if not camping.

Please read this entire description so you are prepared to meet and go with the group

What:
🌁 Join us for Skybridge Sunday!!

• Step onto the world's longest timber-towered suspension bridge and feel the thrill of floating 118 feet above the Boyne Valley. Your experience starts with a scenic ride on the historic 2-person Hemlock chairlift. Glide through the fresh northern Michigan air as you ascend to the summit.
• We’ll meet at the front of Petoskey State Park after checking out and drive 1/2hr to Boyne Mountain for a fun chairlift ride kind of like a roller coaster, SkyBridge with amazing scenic views (can walk the ridge behind instead), hike down or chairlift down.

When:
You have 2 choices:
Drive together from the campground: Sunday June 22 @ 11am - at the front of the park to drive to Skybridge together
..or..
Drive to Skybridge on your own: Sunday June 22 @ 11:30 am - meet at Skybridge with your tickets- the group proceeds then

Where:

• If you want to travel to Skybridge with the group; after packing up meet at 11:00am exit road park on the side in a line.
• ...Or... drive straight there. We'll arrive around 11:30 and proceed

• It could be hard to keep a number of cars together for a 30 minute drive, so have the address pulled up in google maps just in case

Notes:

• Skybridge is in the direction back towards Detroit, so you're driving in the right direction if you are heading back there afterwards
• Options for lunch there, and spa or pool/jacuzzi add’l fee before you head home
• **Purchase your tix In Advance so we can keep our group together! At https://www.boynemountain.com/skybridge-michigan
  Online tix are $5 off regular prices adult tickets $30, senior $25, junior $20, child $1. Unlimited access on the date of your choosing and a ride on the Hemlock Chairlift.
• Meet in front of the entrance to the facility. The group will proceed when we get there and not wait for tickets to be purchased.
