Hiking at Brighton Rec (12ish miles, 4.5ish hours)

Hike starts at 9:45 SHARP -- so get your butt there early!

THE PLAN:
Half of the hike will be done on the well-worn trails that everyone does (Penosha and Yachin) and the other half will be an eclectic romp through the sorta-kinda-maybe trails in Brighton Rec. The hike will done at a moderately fast pace (~3ish mph) with multiple small breaks along the way.

SHORTER HIKE?
There will be a couple opportunities to shorten the hike (~6-8ish miles).

THE MEETING SPOT:
We will be at the Bishop Lake Complex area on the north end (right turn at the large parking lot).

COSTS:
This is a state rec area so you need a Michigan Recreation Pass. If you do not have one, then it is likely a ranger will put a $19 ticket on your car -- paying that gets you the Rec Pass.

DOGS:
Allowed with leashes

BATHROOMS:
At the trailhead only... and trees
