Hiking in Proud Lake (12ish miles, 4.5ish hours)

Hike begins at 9:45 SHARP -- that means get there early

THE PLAN:
A somewhat eclectic hike through the hiking trails at Proud Lake. The hike will done at a moderately fast pace (~3ish mph).

DOGS:
On leashes are allowed

BATHROOMS:
There is a bathroom at the parking area and one more along the hike

THE MEETING SPOT:
After you enter the park, the trailhead parking area is just past the headquarters on the left side. If you reach the Annex you've gone too far.

COSTS:
This is a state rec area so you need a Michigan Recreation Pass. If you do not have one, then it is likely a ranger will put a $19 ticket on your car -- paying that gets you the Pass.

QUESTIONS/COMMENTS:
While I try my best to be a nice guy, kindly note that I likely will not respond to your very-last-minute-trying-to-find-the-location question. Just give yourself a little extra time to get lost and refound.
