Pontiac Lake Recreation Area Night Hike

Join us for a Friday evening hike at Pontiac Lake State Recreation Area.
***Use the location in the event for the trailhead. If you do a search in your GPS, it's likely to put you at the wrong spot. Meet at the main beach parking lot at the West end of the parking lot near the trailhead kiosk. Enter from Williams Lake Road. Google maps and some other gps’s still seem to direct people to the old park entrance off of Gale Rd - which is now closed. The park moved the entrance to Williams Lake Rd a few years ago.
We'll begin hiking at 6:15 and will hike for 2-3 hours at ~ 3 mile an hour pace. There are a couple small hills.
There are a few options for an after-hike drink if anyone is interested.
Make sure to bring a headlamp or flashlight.
The parking area is within the state park and requires a Michigan Recreation Passport for your vehicle or park entry fee.
